Account authority
If you create or administer a workspace for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these terms for it. You must provide accurate account information, protect access to authorised email accounts and devices, and promptly remove people who should no longer have access.
The service
Timecard Lab provides configurable timekeeping, workforce operations, reporting, and integration features. Customers choose their modules, policies, roles, and records. Product features can support a customer’s controls, but they do not by themselves guarantee legal, contractual, accounting, payroll, or DCAA compliance.
Trials, subscriptions, and seats
Eligible workspaces receive the trial shown during sign-up. After a paid subscription begins, fees are charged according to the selected plan, active paid seats, billing interval, and minimum shown on the pricing page or order form. Read-only auditor seats, pending invitations, future starters, and ended members are excluded as described in the product. Seat changes may be reflected in the current or next billing period through the payment provider’s proration rules.
Cancellation
An authorised billing user can manage or cancel a subscription through the customer portal. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the paid period unless the portal states otherwise. Fees already charged are non-refundable except where law requires or we agree otherwise. Export important records before access ends.
Customer data
Customers retain ownership of the information they submit. They give Timecard Lab permission to host, process, transmit, back up, and display it only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service or meet legal obligations. Customers are responsible for having a lawful basis to enter employee, contractor, client, and location data.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, bypass access controls, probe other customers’ data, introduce malicious code, send unlawful content, overload the platform, or use it to violate another person’s rights. We may limit or suspend access needed to contain a security threat, prevent harm, or address a material breach.
Availability and responsibility
We work to provide a secure and reliable service, but no online system is uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided without implied warranties and Timecard Lab is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Any signed order form or separate written agreement takes priority where it conflicts with these terms.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. Material updates will be dated here and may be communicated to workspace administrators. Continued use after an update takes effect means the updated terms apply. Questions can be sent to [email protected]. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply where you live.
